Airport Doha Hamad

- Terminal A and Terminal B – were separated from the Arrivals Terminal (Departure and Transfer Terminal). Terminal A is used by Qatar Airways, while Terminal B is intended for serving over 30 foreign airlines.

- Qatar Airways Premium Terminal – serves travellers of the 1st class and Business class. The terminal has been additionally equipped, among others in conference rooms or Spa.

- Arrival Terminal – arrivals terminal.

The airport is growing in popularity: in 2012, over 21 million passengers used its services. Due to the low capacity in 2006, the construction of a new port began: 5 km east of the current location. Due to delays, the new facility: Hamad International Airport will replace the existing one in 2014.

The existing airport serves 35 foreign airlines. Doha International Airport is the main base of Qatar Airways.

There are several hotels nearby, including Oryx Rotana Doha Hotel and City Suites Hotel Apartments.

A taxi post is on the right side just outside the arrival hall. The only authorized taxi agency that provides services at Doha International Airport is Mowasalat Karwa. The initial price is 25 QAR, while for every 1 km we will pay 1.2 QAR.

The airport is accessible via the Al Diwan St expressway, passing at Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Thani, and then at Ras Abu Abboud St.

Short-term parking at the departure hall:
- the first 15 minutes if parking is free
- the price of parking for each hour is 5 QAR

Long-term parking at the departure hall:
- the price of stops for each hour is 2 QAR
- maximum charge for the whole day: 45 QAR

Gastronomy – cafes and restaurants are open 24 hours a day.

Disabled – the airport is fully prepared for the disabled. Passengers requiring medical assistance are under the care of Hamad Medical Corporation.

Finances – ATMs are located at many points of all terminals. The banking services are provided by: QNB (Terminal A), Qatar International Islamic Bank (Arrivals Terminal).

The chapel – the airport provides 13 prayer rooms for Muslims: 7 for men and 6 for women located in various parts of the terminals.

Health – at the Departure and Transfer Terminal there is a clinic administered by Hamad Medical Corporation. It is open 24/7, and services provided there are free for airport passengers.

Internet – a WiFi network is available in the departure and arrival hall.

Other – there are 2 changing rooms for babies located on the ground floor and 1 floor of the Departure Terminal
